Self-Care Celebration
REGISTRATION IS CLOSED FOR THIS EVENT. In this 6-hour mini retreat hosted by Santa Rita Lodge and Continental Spa, you will begin with an energizing yoga practice steeped in self-love. After class, you will move through 4- 30 minute self-care ‘stations’ to unplug, tune-in, and wind-down. We will re-group and enjoy a vegan/gluten free lunch as we learn about the deeper meaning of self-care in regards to prioritizing, healing, and tuning in to what it is you truly want in life. What’s included: 60 minute yoga class (all levels) Either a 30 minute massage (over clothing) or express facial 30 minute Biofield-tuning & sound healing with Greg Glick of Heartspace Wellness 30 minute guided meditation and energy cleanse with Rudy Avalos Downtime to shop, relax in the beautiful setting of Madera Canyon, and enjoy a free coffee or tea creation in Santa Rita Lodge’s Cafe Corner Fresh, homemade box lunch (vegan/gluten free) by Sweet Peas Catering Self-development lecture focusing on self-love and self-trust with Life Coach, Rudy Avalos There are only 24 precious spaces available for this celebration. Myofascial Release is a powerful tool for your tool box. Instructor, Lorien Caldwell LMT, will guide you through a self practice that can: Develop your understanding of your own unique myofascial system. Enhance the MFR care you may already be receiving. Fascia can tighten down between visits due to habitual holding patterns that are not fully resolved. Reducing this with self care will help you get even more out of your sessions with your therapist. Enhance exercise routines. Muscles that live in a healthy fascial environment will deliver better performance. Fascial care supports healthy circulation and hydration of tissues as well as increasing flexibility for strong muscle cells that recover faster. This one hour class will include: Conscious Fascia Meditation- this practice will guide you into your fascia via your consciousness so you can feel how it resides in your body. Our fascia follows our consciousness and vice versa. Rebounding- you will learn exercises that stimulate release into the fascial system by utilizing the fluid-dynamics of your body. Myofascial Release on the ball- we learn how to utilize a 4” ball to put pressure into areas of tension and pain (ball provided). This group stretch class is for all levels. Yoga Storytime for Families
Join Carrie Williams, certified children's yoga teacher, for a 1 hour yoga and storytime class geared for 2-6 year olds in the Yurt! She will take your Littles on an adventure of movement and story. Parents must accompany children and are encouraged to participate. $25/family of 3 (including parent). Email birds@santaritalodge.com if you will be bringing more than 3 participants ($5 per additional person; payment link will be sent via email, or cash may be paid to instructor at event).
